As a solution he will build a mobile home and find a place where to turn off the engine for good. For this he travels from Finland to Anchorage, Alaska, customises a sixty year-old truck with his friends and drives to Vancouver Island to seek for peace of mind. That is the plan.
The film will follow Hese through the process of preparing and funding the journey to fixing the truck and driving it to Vancouver Island. Alcan Highway is a film about a journey, a dream which seems to be coming true. But is it what Hese really wanted?
